Qiongbin Lin was born in Fujian, China. He received the B.Sc. degree in industrial automation and the second B.Sc. degree in business administration, and the M.Sc. degree in control theory and control engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering all from Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China, in 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2010, respectively.

  From 2013 to 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He is currently an Associate Professor at College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China. From 2018, he is also a Visiting Schorlar with the Technical University of Denmark, Denmark.

His research interests include networked control systems, fuzzy nonlinear systems, model-based and data-based intelligent fault diagnosis, power electronics modeling and control, renewable energy and multi-energy systems. He is the author or co-author of more than 60 publications in journal and proceedings. He owns more than 20 Chinese patents.

He serves currently as contributing reviewers to journals of IEEE Transactions on Industry Electronics, Optimal Control, Applications and Methods, etc.
